Pros and Cons

When it comes to trying to narrow down your choice between Bigcommerce, Squarespace or Shopify as your shopping cart builder for your online store it can be a tough decision at first. That is until you get all the information and features laid out in front of you like in the comparison table above.

With that said personally I think you can cross off the Squarespace platform right away due to them only providing you with one payment processor. This is limiting because you will only be able to sell in the countries where that one payment processor (Stripe) is available and that is only in about 16 countries currently.

So after crossing off Squarespace you are left with the decision between Bigcommerce or Shopify? This heavily depends on the type of products you intend to sell. Click that link and read the differences between these 2 website builders and you will see what I mean. In short it comes down to whether or not your are selling products with customized text or branding on them. For instance like a T-Shirt with someones name on it. If that is the case you will want to go with Bigcommerce and not Shopify. If you are not selling customized products then I suggest you go with Shopify because it is alot easier to pickup and start building rather than trying to figure out how it works and get it to do what you want.
